Creative Snacks #2

Here’s another tidbit to inspire your creativity. Grab your goodies and get situated. Let’s play.

  1. Commit to trying it, as an experiment.
  2. Gather a small journal (6″x4″; 5.5″ x 8.5″) or notebook and a pencil.
  3. Set up your space, in your home, in your car or at the park just make a place.
  4. Set a timer for 20 minutes.
  5. Notice how your mind feels right now.
  6. Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out.
  7. Notice how your body feels. Is there tension?
  8. Take another deep breath in and slowly let it out.
  9. Begin by writing 5 words that describe you. Go fast.                           No over thinking. Fill the page.
  10. Use markers to add color to your page and decorate your words.
  11. Stop when the timer sounds.
  12. Take another deep breath in and slowly let it out.
  13. Notice how your mind feels now.
  14. Put it away without judgment. It is the process we are focused on, not the product.
  15. Take a moment to appreciate yourself for playing.
